The future of Wushu in the state looks incredibly bright, with the Arunachal Wushu Junior Nationals team making a huge splash on the national stage. Our young athletes have brought home an impressive nine medals from the 24th Junior National Wushu Championship 2025, held in Hyderabad from July 1st to 6th.
The team’s outstanding performance included six silver and three bronze medals across various Taolu (forms) and Sanda (sparring) categories. This fantastic result is a testament to the growing strength and talent of our athletes from the North East. The entire state is buzzing with pride over this remarkable achievement.
Arunachal Wushu Junior Nationals: A Medal Tally to Remember
The medal rush was led by a group of determined young fighters who showcased immense skill and spirit. Yani Eru was a standout performer, securing two silver medals in the Taolu Jianshu and Taolu Quanshu events. Similarly, Mocha Dini also had a brilliant tournament, winning a silver in Taolu Gunshu and a bronze in Taolu Daoshu.
