Team Arunachal Set to Represent State at Showtime Pro Boxing Event in Guwahati

Team Arunachal Pro Boxing is all set to make its mark at the inaugural Showtime Pro Boxing event, the first-ever professional boxing event in Assam. The highly anticipated event will take place on March 7, 2025, at the City Centre Mall in Guwahati. The event will feature a host of talented boxers, with six fighters from Arunachal Pradesh gearing up to compete against formidable opponents from across the country.

The six boxers representing Arunachal will showcase their skills in various weight categories:

  1. Logo Gollo will face a tough challenge from Manipur in the Super Bantamweight (55 kg) division.
  2. Honi Talo Camdir is set to battle against Manipur in the Featherweight (57 kg) category.
  3. Jeta Cherom will go head-to-head with Haryana in the Superlight (63 kg) weight class.
  4. Diyo Rimo will square off against Haryana in the Welterweight (66 kg) division.
  5. Dikson Kare will take on West Bengal in the Super Welterweight (69 kg) category.
  6. Tom Laishram will face Assam in a high-stakes Cruiserweight (90 kg) match.

The event promises to be a thrilling spectacle, bringing together some of the best boxers from different regions to compete in a historic moment for professional boxing in the Northeast.
