Sports Authority of India Job: Head of Communication Consultant

The Sports Authority of India (SAI) has announced that applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Consultant as Head (Communication) on a contract basis. The position offers a pay range of Rs. 1,45,000 – Rs. 2,65,000.

The essential qualification for the post is a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institution, while a degree or diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism from a recognized University or Institution is desirable. The candidate must have at least 8 years of experience in the Media and Communications sector, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Media and Communication in Government/Autonomous Organizations/PSU being desirable.

The job description for the position includes ensuring complete digital presence including social media for all the SAI schemes and associated athletes, identifying and understanding the expectations of all stakeholders, and facilitating internal communication for various initiatives by developing systems and procedures for different activities of the department. The Consultant will also be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing PR strategies across all media including press, social media, and publications, preparing annual reports and newsletters, developing and updating web content, handling social media platforms, and creating best practices for promotion and communication (internal, press, social media, etc). The tenure for the position is initially for a period of 3 years, which can be extendable for another 2 years, and the age limit for applicants is 50 years.
