The finals of the first-ever Sikkim Inter School Badminton Championship kicked off today at the Paljor Stadium’s Indoor Badminton Court. The atmosphere is electric as the state’s most promising young shuttlers battle it out for the historic title.
The two-day championship has become a major platform for school-level talent from across Sikkim. The event was officially inaugurated this morning by Education and Sports Minister, Shri Raju Basnet, who highlighted the state’s commitment to nurturing sports from the ground up.
Also present were key figures like the Badminton Association of Sikkim President, Shri Jacob Khaling Rai, and other senior members, all showing their support for this fantastic new initiative.
