Roll Ball tournament in Assam proves to be a breeding ground for young talent

RUDRA SINGHA ROLL BALL GROUND, ASSAM – The 3rd Super Mini & Junior Inter District Championship was held in Rudra Singha Roll Ball Ground and saw the participation of 8 districts in the state. The two-day event ended on a high note with the closing ceremony graced by prominent personalities such as Aimee Baruah, renowned actress and producer of Assam, Deepak Nath, President of Guwahati Roll Ball Association, James Moran, Dwijesh Sarmah, Jayanta Kownar, and Bhumidhar Barman, General Secretary of Assam Roll Ball Association.

In the Super Mini category, young talents battled it out to emerge victorious. In the U-9 girls category, Kamrup M took the first spot followed by Kamrup in the second spot. In the U-9 boys category, Guwahati emerged as champions while Kamrup M and Tinisukia took second and third place, respectively.

Moving on to the U-17 girls category, Pragjyotishpur took the first spot while Guwahati and Dibrugarh settled for second and third place, respectively. In the U-17 boys category, Kamrup M took the first spot while Guwahati and Dibrugarh secured the second and third spot, respectively.

The championship provided a platform for young and talented players to showcase their skills and compete against each other. The winners were felicitated with medals and trophies, and the tournament was appreciated by all who attended.

Aimee Baruah, the renowned actress and producer, spoke highly of the tournament and praised the young participants for their dedication and hard work. Deepak Nath, President of Guwahati Roll Ball Association, expressed his gratitude to all the participants, officials, and spectators for making the event a grand success.

The 3rd Super Mini & Junior Inter District Championship has undoubtedly been a great success and has set the stage for more such events in the future. With the support of the officials, the players, and the public, Roll Ball has a bright future ahead in Assam.
