The Education (Youth Affairs & Sports) Department of the Government of Tripura has announced the recruitment of several posts for the Khelo India State Centre of Excellence (KISCE) located in Badharghat, Agartala. The department is inviting applications from Indian nationals to fill these positions on a purely contractual basis.
The available posts and their respective qualifications, experience requirements, and remuneration are as follows:
- GENERAL PHYSICIAN (Contractual, 1 Vacancy, Not Reserved):
- Qualifications: Candidates must hold an MBBS degree from any recognized Indian or foreign university and should be registered with the Medical Council of India/State. A Master’s degree in Sports, Diploma in Sports, or Fellowship in Sports will be preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience, including working with sports academies, institutions, and national/international sports teams.
- Age Limit: Applicants should be below 60 years of age as of the closing date of the advertisement.
- Remuneration: Fixed remuneration of Rs. 60,000/- per month.
- PHYSIOTHERAPIST (1 Vacancy, Reserved for Females Only):
- Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from any recognized Indian or foreign university. An MPT in Sports will be preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of work experience as a physiotherapist, including at least 1 year of experience with sports academies/institutions.
- Age Limit: The maximum age should not exceed 45 years on the last date of receipt of applications.
- Remuneration: Fixed remuneration of Rs. 60,000/- per month.
- YOUNG PROFESSIONAL (1 Vacancy, Not Reserved):
- Qualifications: Applicants should have a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification, or a Bachelor’s degree with a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Management or equivalent from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates who have represented India at the international level and hold a Bachelor’s degree or have a Post Graduation in Sports Management will be given preference.
- Experience: Graduates must have at least three years of work experience.
- Age Limit: The maximum age should not exceed 32 years on the last date of receipt of applications.
- Remuneration: Fixed remuneration of Rs. 40,000/- per month.
- MASSEUR (1 Vacancy, Non-Reserved):
- Educational Qualifications: Candidates should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board and possess a certificate course or skill development program in Masseur/Masseuse/Massage Therapy/Sports Masseur/Masseuse from a recognized institution.
- Age Limit: Applicants must not have attained 35 years of age as of the closing date of the advertisement.
- Remuneration: Fixed remuneration of Rs. 35,000/- per month.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Masseur/Masseuse is required.
The selection of candidates for interviews will be based on certain criteria, including higher educational qualification, diploma in massage therapy, total work experience, and work experience in sports establishments.
