Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Sports Qualification:
- Must have participated in or won medals in International/National events recognized by the Indian Olympic Association or respective Sports Federations between 31st December 2022 and 30th December 2024.
- For team events, candidates must be playing members of the team that won medals during the specified period.
- Age Limit:
- 18 to 23 years as of 1st January 2025.
- Relaxation applicable:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- Additional relaxation for departmental candidates with continuous service.
Selection Process
- Candidates will undergo a thorough scrutiny of their applications and certificates.
- Minimum qualifying marks: 8 (for all categories – UR/SC/ST/OBC/EWS).
- Further stages of selection will include sports performance evaluation and other criteria as determined by BSF.
