Assam’s 8 Players Selected for Indian Roll Ball Trial Camp

In a significant milestone for the Assam Roll Ball Association, eight talented players from the state have been selected for the prestigious Indian trial camp for the first time. This achievement is a proud moment for the state’s emerging roll ball talent, particularly the junior players under the age of 17.

The young athletes have earned a spot in the 1st Junior Roll Ball World Cup Indian Team Selection Trial Camp, which will be held in Singanallur, Tamil Nadu, from March 20 to March 25, 2025. A total of 42 boys and 40 girls from across India will be vying for a place in the final squad, which will represent Team India at the Junior Roll Ball World Cup in Nairobi, Kenya.

The selected players from Assam include:

Boys:

  • B.P. Hindu
  • Riyan Ali

Girls:

  • Dhanistha Kashyap
  • Namrata Kairi
  • Srinika Mazumdar
  • Mishka Singhal
  • Krishti Sahariah
  • Sia Sonthalia (Goalkeeper)

The selection of these talented athletes marks an important achievement for the state, and their success at the trial camp will be eagerly awaited by the entire community.
