The Asmita City League for Archery, held at the Sangay Lhaden Sports Academy (SLSA) from March 18th to 19th, 2025, brought together top athletes from Khelo India State Centre of Excellence (KISCE) and District Level Khelo India Centres (KIC) across the region. The event was a significant platform for young archers to showcase their talent and compete at an elite level.
Participating in the league were SLSA and four District-Level Khelo India Centres: Government Higher Secondary School, Anini, Dibang Valley District; Independent Golden Jubilee Higher Secondary School, Pasighat, East Siang; D K Government Higher Secondary School, Ziro; and High Altitude Stadium, Tawang District.

The excitement doesn’t end here – the Asmita City League for Weightlifting will begin tomorrow at the Sangay Lhaden Sports Academy, promising more action and competitive spirit.
This event marks a significant milestone in the growth of archery within the Khelo India framework, helping to nurture young women talent from the region and provide them with opportunities to excel in the sport.
