The Directorate of Sports, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Chief Minister’s Meritorious Sportsperson Scholarship Programme. This state-funded initiative aims to provide comprehensive support and development opportunities for both able-bodied and para-athletes from Arunachal Pradesh.

The programme seeks to identify and nurture talented young athletes, offering them the resources they need to excel in their respective sports and contribute to the state and national sporting achievements.

    2. Judo
    3. Badminton
    4. Boxing
    5. Taekwondo

    7. Skateboarding
    8. Wushu
    9. Karate
    10. Athletics
    11. Para Badminton
    12. Para Athletics
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • Athletes must have secured a podium finish at a recognized state-level sports event.
    • Applicants must be aged between 13 to 24 years.
    • The athlete must be a domicile of Arunachal Pradesh.
