The 9th State Level Hangpan Dada Memorial Trophy (HDMT) 2026 saw another eventful day of action in Aalo, with the football quarterfinals concluding and the semifinal line-ups confirmed across both boys’ and girls’ categories.
In the boys’ section, Keyi Panyor, Siang, Papum Pare, and Lower Siang booked their places in the semifinals following a series of tightly fought contests, several of which were decided by penalty shootouts. In the girls’ category, Shi Yomi, Namsai, Capital Complex, and East Kameng progressed to the last four with strong performances in their respective quarterfinal ties.
Alongside the football action, the volleyball league stage also wrapped up successfully at Siyom Army Ground, with both boys’ and girls’ categories producing competitive matches throughout.
