Assam’s Bodybuilders to Represent India in International Championships

A group of eight exceptional bodybuilders from Assam has been chosen to participate in the upcoming selection trials. If successful, these talented athletes will proudly represent India in three highly regarded international championships. The competitions they will be vying for include the 13th South Asian Championship in Maldives, scheduled from July 5th to 9th, 2023, the 55th Asian Championship in Kathmandu, Nepal, taking place from September 1st to 7th, 2023, and the 14th WBPF World Championship in Korea, set for November 6th to 12th, 2023.

The chosen bodybuilders hailing from Assam are Prakash Pradhan from Kamrup, Pabitra Nath from Majuli, Dhrubajyoti Tamuli from Assam Police, Pratik Deb from Karimganj, Kusha Gogogi from Biswanath, Parikhit Hazarika from Biswanath, Sabia Bania from Kamrup, and Saya Baruah from Sonitpur.

Their exceptional accomplishments and unwavering commitment to the sport have earned them the prestigious opportunity to represent their nation on the international stage. Through rigorous training, impressive physical prowess, and remarkable skills, they have secured their positions in the national team.

The 13th South Asian Championship in Maldives will witness fierce competition among the best bodybuilders from across South Asia.
