On the second day of the Khelo India Youth Games (KIYG) 2025, Manipur delivered an outstanding performance in cycling, adding two more medals to its tally and raising the state’s total medal count to four.
In the Men’s Scratch Race event, Thounaojam Gyananta Singh secured a Bronze medal after a highly competitive race. His strategic riding and resilience on the track marked a significant achievement for Manipur in this endurance cycling category.
In the Team Sprint event, the trio of Huidrom Suraj Singh, Laishram Prem Singh, and Konthoujam Lanchenba Singh earned a Silver medal, showing exceptional speed and coordination. Their teamwork and determination brought home Manipur’s second medal of the day.
