In an exciting match between Madrasa and Jail Road Boys, Madrasa emerged victorious with a resounding 10-wicket win in the Inter School Cricket League for 2022/2023. The match, which took place at the local cricket ground, witnessed some thrilling performances from both teams.

Winning the toss, Madrasa elected to field first, and it proved to be a strategic decision. Jail Road Boys went on to score 96/6 wickets in their allotted 15 overs. Rahul Paul was the top scorer for Jail Road Boys, scoring 35 runs off 24 balls, followed by Samir with 28 runs off 26 balls. Madrasa’s bowlers, Amir and Imran, shined with the ball, with Amir taking 3 wickets for 13 runs in his 3 overs and Imran taking 2 wickets for 14 runs in his 3 overs.

In reply, Madrasa chased down the target with ease, scoring 98/0 wickets in just 8.3 overs. Md Wahid was the star batsman for Madrasa, scoring an impressive 62 runs off 30 balls, including 7 boundaries and 3 sixes. Arman also contributed with 20 runs off 17 balls. Jail Road Boys’ bowlers struggled to contain the onslaught, with Raja conceding 16 runs in 1 over and Samir conceding 11 runs in 1 over.

Md Wahid’s spectacular innings earned him the well-deserved Man of the Match award for his match-winning knock of 62 runs.
