Two professional boxers from Arunachal Pradesh, Poken Siga and Diyo Rimo Matam, are set to represent the state at the highly anticipated Super Fighter Series 3, taking place at Sunburn Union, Bengaluru. The event, organized by Grassroot Boxing in partnership with Crown Boxing Promotion, brings together top Indian and international boxing talents in a unique blend of professional combat and nightlife entertainment.
After the success of the first two editions, Super Fighter Series 3 returns with an expanded lineup featuring nine bouts, including four international matchups. The main event will see India’s top-ranked professional boxer Faizan Anwar face Ghana’s experienced Kpakpo Allotey.
Among the key undercard bouts, two Arunachalee fighters will take center stage:
Poken Siga
Poken Siga is an emerging welterweight boxer from Arunachal Pradesh with an undefeated professional record. He has secured three wins, including two by knockout, since making his debut. Notable victories include a TKO win over Karan Basnet and a recent stoppage win against Kaminikumar Leimapokpam in the main event of APB Fight Night.
Siga will face Rohit Choudhary, a seasoned opponent, in what promises to be one of the most competitive domestic clashes of the evening.
Diyo Rimo Matam
Diyo Rimo Matam is a multi-discipline combat sports athlete turned professional boxer. His accomplishments include a bronze medal at both the World MMA Championship and the Asian MMA Championship. He is also a two-time National MMA Champion, and has held national titles in kickboxing and Muay Thai.
Matam will go up against Vanlalawmpuia of India in a bout that marks his return to the Super Fighter Series card following an impressive start to his boxing career.
The event also includes international fights featuring boxers from Belarus, Uganda, the UAE, and Ghana, making it a landmark night for Indian boxing fans.
