18th Kamrup District Wushu Championship to Be Held on April 19-20

The 18th Kamrup District Wushu Championship is scheduled to take place on April 19 and 20 at Rani. A general meeting was recently held at the Kamrup District Wushu Association headquarters in Boko to finalize preparations for the event.
The meeting, presided over by General Secretary Durgeswar Rabha and chaired by the Association President, focused on organizational aspects of the championship. It was emphasized that the winners of the district-level competition will qualify to participate in the All Assam level and national-level championships.
Representatives from various Wushu clubs and academies across the district attended the meeting. Rabha urged all players and coaches to intensify their preparations, noting that the competition will include sub-junior, junior, youth, and senior categories, along with taolu events.
