Nagaland Cricketers Shine at NECDC Achievers’ Nite 2025

Nagaland’s cricketers made a remarkable impact at the 4th North East Cricket Development Council (NECDC) Achievers’ Nite held in Gangtok. The event, hosted by the Sikkim Cricket Association, celebrated outstanding performances from the North East during the 2024–25 BCCI domestic season.
Captain of the Nagaland Ranji Team, Jonathan Rongsen, was the standout recipient of the evening. He was conferred the award for Best Batter and North East Player of the Season (Male).
Aloto Sumi emerged as a double award winner in the U-16 Boys category, receiving accolades for both Best Batter and Best Bowler.
In the U-23 category, Mughavi Sumi was named Best Batter.
Additionally, the Nagaland Senior Men’s Cricket Team was felicitated for successfully retaining its Elite Division status in the Ranji Trophy.
